About the Toowoomba house block
This freehold vacant land is on the west side of the New England Highway in Harlaxton, a north end suburb of Toowoomba. The address is 251 New England Highway Harlaxton, Toowoomba, Qld., Aust.
It has views to the East over the Helidon valley even from the very back of the block.
This 690 square meter gently sloping land is fenced on 3 sides and has a new driveway crossover for vehicular access.
A water main is connected and is ready to use.
The site has no substantial tree growth that would affect foundations.
The building on the North side is a triplex; the West has a housing commission house set well away from the west boundary; and the South side has a low set house privately owned (not a rental).
About the Hoffy road racer
This cycle was custom build for me in 1980 by the now retired Eric Hendren who became the main frame builder for Hoffy for many years.
Hoffy Cycles is located at Sandgate, Brisbane and custom built many racers for both local and international competitors over many years.
Their cycles became legendary and are now sought after for their high quality steel frames and craftsmanship.
The frame is constructed from Reynolds 531 double butted steel tubes and is lugged with the unique Hoffy designed
fancy lugs.
Here are the specifications:
- Top tube – 570mm
- Seat tube – 620mm
- Gippiemme cranks – 180mm
- Wheels – 700mm Araya with low profile HB RM50 hubs, quick release
- Shimano 600 brakes and gear set
- Cinelli gooseneck
- Milano road bars
- Chair pedals
